Therapy blend of modalities ~ is a deeper more vigorous treatment that can either address the whole body or give more attention to specific areas of need. Using a greater range of techniques & tools designed to help your body feel freer and stronger with passive stretching, structural positional release & structural integration, I will work into the deeper layers gradually with more detail to relieve chronic tension. I also include therapeutic grade oils with each session if you do so desire and it is included in my rate. Routine therapeutic sessions are encouraged.
*Magnetic Cups (may be applied if not contraindicated)
Micro-cups and magnetic micro-cups allow for therapy to be used for injuries and pain management, neuropathy, scar reduction, joint issues, and scoliosis. They can also be used with knowledge of trigger points. These powerful tools are used to shift the PH of tissue, enabling the release of old debris, and enhance blood and lymphatic flow. Another age-old tool with modern applications and exciting results!
*Structural Relief Therapy (SRT) ~ is a non-invasive, advanced bodywork technique that stops involuntary muscle contraction, instantly increases range of motion, and dramatically decreases pain in the first treatment. SRT releases involuntary muscle contraction by reprogramming the jammed neurological signals of the muscles to and from the brain. SRT also incorporates the principles of Muscle Energy Technique and Myofacial Release. Structural Relief Therapy uses the gentle principle of holding the body in a position to shorten the contracted muscle. By holding this position, the involuntary muscle contraction stops and tissues soften. It is speculated that this happens because positioning the body in a pain free position reprograms the neurological signals of the muscles to and from the brain. Unlike traditional deep tissue and trigger point therapy, this technique is less invasive and focuses more on realignment of muscles through positioning and Myofacial Release. SRT Has been found to be over 90% effective on relieving symptoms of pain and discomfort. It is also effective in assisting with relief from chronic medical conditions including carpal tunnel syndromes, shoulder pain, sciatica, low back pain, knee pain, shin splints and plantar fascitis.

Vacutherapy allows for more control and is intended to be non-invasive with the use of this special machine.
Cupping therapies have become more popular in the past few years due to the Olympics and trending celebrities rocking cupping marks on their bodies. Did you know that cupping therapies have been around for thousands of years? Hippocrates (the founder of western medicine) advocated for both massage & cupping therapies. All the way up until the 1930's doctors regularly had cupping sets to help with their patients pain. So what happened? New drugs such as penicillin came to the forefront and along with other advances in medicine, cupping went to the wayside. However, cupping has continued to thrive in many parts of the world such as many cultures in Asia & Eastern Europe. Now it's seeing a resurgence in North America.
For many years, cupping was primarily practiced by Traditional Chinese Medicine such as Acupuncturists. In the past few decades, western bodyworkers started using cupping along with massage to enhance the treatments. We call this combination of massage with cupping as MediCupping or Vacutherapy. Instead of using the cups for unblocking the Chinese energy meridians, we look at it in a western philosophy of affecting the tissues, nervous system and keeping the cups active instead of the traditional static cup placement.
Vacutherapy is a pleasant, gentle, and non-invasive technique that achieves powerful results. Vacutherapy continues to evolve as new equipment is located and creative applications are discovered. These techniques relieve inflammation, sedate the nervous system, move stagnant lymph and blood, hydrate and nourish tissue, shift tissue PH, and can be used on acute and chronic conditions for all ages! Routine therapeutic sessions are encouraged.
Vacutherapy practice is a form of cupping in which the "cup" is constantly moving across the skin of the client, lifting the soft tissue and fascia as opposed to pushing or pressing.

Review by Chad of Cleona, PA
"Christina is THE BEST! She listens, connects and is sensitive to my individual concerns (body, mind and soul). Then, she takes those factors and provides ultra-personal care based on what is needed. I would never go anywhere else, would never trust something this important to another therapist. I am extremely grateful to have found her. "
