Office Policies

Cancelation Policy

I understand that unanticipated events happen on an occasion in everyone’s life.  It is my desire to be effective and fair to all my clients.  I can only see a small number of clients each day.  Please be considerate of my time and try to follow the following policies:

I have a scheduling program that will confirm your appointment and remind you of your appointment by text and email.  Please provide me with at least a 24-48 hour advance notice when canceling an appointment.  This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.  If you are unable to give me advanced notice, you may be charged for the "full amount" of the scheduled session time.  This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

No show
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment, for whatever reason, will be considered a “no-show” and they will be charged for their “missed” appointment for the total amount of the session that was scheduled.  After 2 occurrences, I may no longer be able to schedule you.

Late arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate others whose appointment follows yours.  Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a session.  Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.  Out of respect and consideration for me and other clients, please feel free to call or text me to let me know you are running late.

Scope of practice
Massage therapy is a profession in which the practitioner applies manual techniques, and may apply adjunctive therapies, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client.

Massage therapists do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions nor are they allowed to provide treatment for a specific condition without doctor’s supervision. I am required to refer you for diagnosis and to follow the recommendations of your physician.

You can feel free to call me anytime between 8am and 8pm to schedule.  Clients usually call me and either leave a message or they send me a text message.   I do check my phone in between my sessions.  I apologize, but I need to turn my phone ringer off during my sessions so that I can devote my undivided attention to my client in need.  I will always return your call.  Please call me if you ever have any questions.  I will try my best to help you or find someone who can.  Have a wonderful day!
