This practice includes the external application of water, heat, cold, lubricants or other topical preparations, lymphatic techniques, myofascial release techniques and the use of electro-mechanical devices and tools which mimic or enhance the action of the bodywork. *Magnetic Cups (may be applied if not contraindicated)
Micro-cups and magnetic micro-cups allow for therapy to be used for injuries and pain management, neuropathy, scar reduction, joint issues, and scoliosis. They can also be used with knowledge of trigger points. These powerful tools are used to shift the PH of tissue, enabling the release of old debris, and enhance blood and lymphatic flow. Another age-old tool with modern applications and exciting results!

*Structural Relief Therapy (SRT) ~ is a non-invasive, advanced bodywork technique that stops involuntary muscle contraction, instantly increases range of motion, and dramatically decreases pain in the first treatment. SRT releases involuntary muscle contraction by reprogramming the jammed neurological signals of the muscles to and from the brain. SRT also incorporates the principles of Muscle Energy Technique and Myofacial Release. Structural Relief Therapy uses the gentle principle of holding the body in a position to shorten the contracted muscle. By holding this position, the involuntary muscle contraction stops and tissues soften. It is speculated that this happens because positioning the body in a pain free position reprograms the neurological signals of the muscles to and from the brain. Unlike traditional deep tissue and trigger point therapy, this technique is less invasive and focuses more on realignment of muscles through positioning and Myofacial Release. SRT Has been found to be over 90% effective on relieving symptoms of pain and discomfort. It is also effective in assisting with relief from chronic medical conditions including carpal tunnel syndromes, shoulder pain, sciatica, low back pain, knee pain, shin splints and plantar fascitis.

Cupping therapies have become more popular in the past few years due to the Olympics and trending celebrities rocking cupping marks on their bodies.  Did you know that cupping therapies have been around for thousands of years?  Hippocrates (the founder of western medicine) advocated for both massage & cupping therapies.  All the way up until the 1930's doctors regularly had cupping sets to help with their patients pain.  So what happened?  New drugs such as penicillin came to the forefront and along with other advances in medicine, cupping went to the wayside.  However, cupping has continued to thrive in many parts of the world such as many cultures in Asia & Eastern Europe.  Now it's seeing a resurgence in North America.

For many years, cupping was primarily practiced by Traditional Chinese Medicine such as Acupuncturists.  In the past few decades, western bodyworkers started using cupping along with massage to enhance the treatments.  We call this combination of massage with cupping as MediCupping or Vacutherapy.  Instead of using the cups for unblocking the Chinese energy meridians, we look at it in a western philosophy of affecting the tissues, nervous system and keeping the cups active instead of the traditional static cup placement.

Vacutherapy is a pleasant, gentle, and non-invasive technique that achieves powerful results.  Vacutherapy continues to evolve as new equipment is located and creative applications are discovered. These techniques relieve inflammation, sedate the nervous system, move stagnant lymph and blood, hydrate and nourish tissue, shift tissue PH, and can be used on acute and chronic conditions for all ages!

Vacutherapy is a form of cupping in which the "cup" is constantly moving across the skin of the client, lifting the soft tissue and fascia as opposed to pushing or pressing.

Therapeutic Benefits
So how can cupping help you?  Here are some of the therapeutic effects that cupping has on the body:

Assists with lymph drainage and moves stagnation or solid bloat
Stimulates circulation and detoxification
Loosen adhesions (great for trigger point work) Softens scar tissue
Release deep tissue issues
Relieve inflammation in your system
Sedating to the nervous system (which equals less pain)
Increase range of movement
Cellulite reduction, assists with weight loss and contouring the face and body
Skin toning and firming

Cancellation Policy

I understand that unanticipated events happen on an occasion in everyone’s life.  It is my desire to be effective and fair to all of my clients.  I can only see a small number of clients each day.  Please be considerate of my time and try to follow the following policies:

I have a scheduling program that will confirm your appointment and remind you of your appointment by text and email.  Please provide me with at least a 24-48 hour advance notice when canceling an appointment.  This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.  If you are unable to give me advanced notice, you may be charged for the "full amount" of the scheduled session time.  This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

No show
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment, for whatever reason, will be considered a “no-show” and they will be charged for their “missed” appointment for the total amount of the session that was scheduled.  After 1 occurrences, I am sorry, but I may no longer be able to schedule you.

Late arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointment follows yours.  Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a session.  Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.  Out of respect and consideration for me and other clients, please feel free to call or text me to let me know you are running late.

You can feel free to call me anytime between 8am and 8pm to schedule.  Clients usually call me and either leave a message or they send me a text message.   I do check my phone in between my sessions.  I apologize, but I need to turn my phone ringer off during my sessions so that I can devote my undivided attention to my client in need.  I will always return your call.  Please call me if you ever have any questions.  I will try my best to help you or find someone who can.  Have a wonderful day!

Feel free to contact me anytime  cg.abmp@gmail.com
