My course of study over the years of my practice has always been in Western modalities and techniques. I have been in practice since May of 2000.

The difference between Eastern and Western massage is as follows:

Purpose: Western massage aims to relieve tense muscles on the body's structure while promoting relaxation to the body & the mind. Eastern massage takes a holistic approach, balancing the body's energy and systems.

Focus: Western massage targets muscle tension, anatomical structures and stress relief while, Eastern massage emphasizes energy flow and balance.
